The University Libraries are glad to announce that they have recently upgraded the platform of their Research Guides to better serve patrons.
Library Research guides help researchers find reliable, high-quality information. Our guides are created by librarians who are experienced about subjects in a wide array of disciplines and about best practice in information retrieval.
Researchers can search the University Libraries’ research guides by keyword, subject, type, or by the alphabetically ordered list to find the appropriate guide.
We invite you to check the new platform to find:
- Subject Guides: Get an overview of the resources our subject experts found to be the best on a given subject area. You can browse alphabetically or by topic. Once you’ve found the guide pertaining to your subject, you’re just a few clicks away from quality sources for your research.
- How-to Guides: Explore helpful guides on library essentials, such as how to cite sources, manage your references, find government documents, find reference information, or search for primary sources. Advanced tutorials also offer help on more specialized topics.
- Topic Guides: Find resources specific to a topic and get tips on where and how to go to find relevant information.
- Course Guides: Course guides are class-specific resources developed to help you get started with your research and to maximize your educational experience. You’ll find librarian-created lists of top resources and tips to get your project started.
We hope you enjoy the new platform and find the guides useful and helpful for your research.
